A Fellow distinction is given to a physical therapist who completes post-graduate residency of 440 hours of clinical practice under the supervision of a Fellow as well as more than 200 hours of classroom instruction in theory, principles of evaluation and treatment, and clinical decision making. The classroom training is followed by written, oral, and live patient exams. We are also a teaching facility for residency students wishing to pursue their Fellowship with AAOMPT.
